By accessing and using Grocelist ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
Grocelist is an iOS app available through the Apple App Store. It allows users to create and manage grocery lists by adding, organizing, and marking items as completed. The App offers a free tier with optional in‑app purchases to unlock additional features. The App is intended for individual, personal use by users who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under the laws of their jurisdiction.
Grocelist grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, personal license to use the App on your Apple device(s) for your private, non‑commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract the source code of, or redistribute the App, except as permitted by Apple's App Store terms and applicable law.
Grocelist can be used for free with basic features. The App also offers optional in‑app purchases and/or subscriptions to access additional functionality. All purchases, subscriptions, renewals, and refunds are processed and managed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies. Grocelist does not process or store payment information. The App is designed for iOS devices and does not provide a separate web version.
Grocelist does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. The App does not collect, store, or sell user data, and it does not display advertising or use third‑party analytics or tracking tools. All lists, items, and related data you enter are stored locally on your device. Device‑level and purchase‑related information may be processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Grocelist may modify or update these Terms of Service from time to time, for example to reflect new features, changes in functionality, or legal requirements. When changes are made, the updated Terms will be made available within the App and, if applicable, on the official Grocelist website. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grocelist disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. Grocelist does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or free from security vulnerabilities, or that it will meet your specific needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Grocelist, its owners, or grocelistapp.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for use of the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside, unless a different governing law is required by applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws.
